We are currently looking for an Administrator to join our friendly team based at RAND (NRP) close to Market Rasen in Lincolnshire.  This role is easily commutable from Market Rasen, Lincoln, Horncastle, Sleaford.

 

The role will initially be site based; but following on-site training, hybrid working would be considered.

Role Responsibility

As an Administrator you will be providing both clerical and administrative support to professionals, either as part of a team or individually. You as the Administrator will be involved with the coordination, implementation and communication of procedures and you will frequently have responsibility for specific projects and tasks. 

 

In the role of Administrator, responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • Check and process operative timesheets on a daily basis in line with business cut off periods 
  • Supporting and coordinating where necessary the organisation of training courses as required 
  • Raise purchase order requisitions and goods receipt on receipt of invoice  
  • Completion of administration tasks within a reasonable timeframe 
  • Processing area transactional data accurately and in line with requirements 
  • Updating various departmental spreadsheets with information as and when it is available to maintain control on ownership, cost and utilisation 
  • Provide assistance with production of presentations, documents, reports and general correspondence where required 
  • Coordinate meetings including room allocation and catering requirements, preparing agendas and organising action logs 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Administrator will be able to demonstrate previous administrative experience including organisation and planning gained within fast-paced construction, manufacturing, or similar environment.  
 

  • Showing a ‘Proud to work for Tarmac’ attitude, building rapport and positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • IT skills including a high level of competence with the Microsoft packages 
  • Experience with SAP would prove highly beneficial in this role
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities 
  • Being ambitious to learn new skills and achieve your own personal goals, as well as business goal
