Assistant Management Accountant

We are currently looking for an Assistant Management Account to join our team based in Wolverhampton.

Role Responsibility

We are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our team in Wolverhampton at Tarmac Building Products.  

This is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires an individual with a high drive for analytical accuracy, and a competency to communicate with senior management and key decision makers.

Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, you will produce monthly MI to the business stream and assist the FM to maintain financial control.  

• This will include monthly business performance updates, balance sheet control, all forecasting modelling and commercial analysis.
• It would be desirable that the applicant would be studying towards an accounting qualification and would possess good IT skills (Excel required, Microsoft AX desirable)

The Ideal Candidate

• You'll have experience of working within a busy finance team and ideally be comfortable dealing with internal customers, supporting them with any finance queries they have. 
• Ideally you'll be studying towards a professional qualification such as CIMA or ACCA and be conscientious and willing to learn.
