We are looking to recruit a Bi-Lingual Office Manager to join our friendly team to work on our A487 New Dyfi Bridge project. The project consists of installing a 1.2 km long single carriageway road starting at the northern end of Machynlleth traversing the flood plan on 725 m long viaduct to re-join the existing A487 at Ffridgate.
The works will be carried out on the A487 in Machynlleth managed from the site office located on the Dyfi Eco Park and we will be looking to receive applications from candidates based preferably within a one hour radius of this location or from candidates willing to travel/relocate.
Please note this role will be a 2 year fixed term contract.

Role Responsibility
On a day to day basis, the successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Answer all telephone calls in a timely manner, screening, recording, and forwarding calls as applicable
- Greet all clients and visitors ensuring correct booking in procedures are adhered to
- Informing and reminding everyone of COVID 19 regulations
- Organising meetings and setting up the office for upcoming meetings
- Organising inductions for new starters
- Distribute incoming mail and manage outgoing mail, including arranging couriers as required
- Provide PA/administration support/diary management to the Project Team
- Support and cover for the Office Manager as required. You will be required to train in the Project Management Systems
- Ordering stations as and when required
- Attend management meetings and produce minutes in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure all filing and archiving of project records are co-ordinated and organised allowing ease of access and retrieval
- Ensure the reception area is clean and tidy and refreshments are available and offered as required. This may also include organising light lunches
- Managing databases in line with GDPR regulations
- Note taking in Senior Management meetings
- Support with any other ad hoc administrative duties as requested
The Ideal Candidate
Welsh Speaker (essential)
Polite and professional at all times
Confident with an ability to communicate with people at all levels
Excellent customer service skills
Proactive, highly organised and efficient
Fully proficient in IT, specifically, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
