We are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Land Development Team at Tarmac.  The successful candidate will be expected to be flexible within their working location as travel is required.  We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.

Role Responsibility

Reporting directly to the Head of Development you will be responsible for:

• Leading the work on the disposal of development land to housebuilders and developers across the country
• Working in close liaison with Development Managers, you will assist with the management and development of the land and buildings property portfolio, pre and post operational use, to drive best value from the property assets
• Managing the liaison with external managing agents, land and property owners / developers, tenants, consultants and Planning Authorities

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience of property management and the property development and disposal process. You will:

• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Have experience of liaising with stakeholders of varying seniority levels both internally and externally
• Be motivated and have a passion for adding value to a property portfolio by developing strategies to change the future use of otherwise underutilised land
• Be flexible
