We’re looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of high-profile works. You’ll provide leadership, drive performance, and ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the delivery of highways projects across the South East to include Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridge
- Maximise financial returns and manage contractual risk
- Drive operational strategy and ensure compliance with safety and business policies
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and supply chain partners
- Identify commercial opportunities and support long-term work bank growth
- Resolve disputes, manage risks, and ensure cash flow targets are met
- Promote continuous improvement and share best practice across projects
- Support and develop your team, driving engagement and performance
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in Construction, Highways, and Surfacing
- Strong leadership and contract management skills
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification
- HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant discipline (desirable)
- Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and problem-solving ability
- A full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
- IT Data Management (highly desirable)
- Pavers Machine Control experience (highly desirable)
