Contracts Support Officer

We are looking for a Contract Support Officer to be based at our office in Purland Road, Thamesmead.

Role Responsibility
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for:
- General administrative support to the Commercial and Operational teams as required
- Raising new permits for reactive works and schemes, updating and closing down permits on the Symology works order management system
- Completing daily whereabouts and timesheets
- Downloading works order daily from Symology and allocating to supervisor/works team
- Updating the master project dashboard with new and completed works and associated commentary
- Monitoring KPI performance on dashboard and inform supervisors of key dates and targets
- Uploading completing works photos to Symology to support claims
- The ordering of all tarmac and concrete daily as per information supplied by supervisors
- The ordering of material/stock from the yard based on information provided by yardman or supervisors
- Assisting commercial team with invoicing of completed works using Symology
- Adhering to on-site Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role you will have ideally have experience within highways/local authority environment. You will also:
- Possess strong numerical and problem solving skills
- Ideally have experience of permitting
- Be IT proficient
- Be organised and possess strong communication skills
- Understanding of the Construction/Civil Engineering Industry
- Be driven, confident and have a passion for learning
- Have a desire for career progression
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Qualified to A-Level standard
- You will be numerate and will have a Maths GCSE
- Live within commutable distance to depot
