Customer Service Advisor - 12 month FTC

We are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our friendly team in Bawtry on a 12 month FTC.

Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds, therefore prior technical experience isn’t always necessary for success.

Role Responsibility

In the role of Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Administering customer accounts which includes customer master data and price maintenance, timely investigation and resolution of customer invoice queries and complaints
  • Proactively seeks to improve payment and DSO performance (days sales outstanding) by working closely with customer Accounts Payable departments
  • The role also requires cross functional working relationships to ensure all aspects of the customer experience is maximised to its full potential

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Customer Service Advisor will have experience of:

  • 2 years experience in a customer service/accounts role
  • Self motivated 
  • Customer focused
  • Effective use of questioning and listening to establish customer needs
  • Able to build relationships and trust by providing solutions
