Join Our Team as a Customer Service Coordinator – Make a Real Impact Every Day

We're on the lookout for a Customer Service Coordinator to become a key part of our dynamic Customer Service Team, acting as the friendly and professional face of Tarmac in daily interactions with our valued customers.


Main Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Coordinator, you’ll work cross-functionally to ensure smooth and effective communication with customers, supporting their needs from initial contact through to resolution. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Taking ownership of customer enquiries and orders via phone and email, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
  • Delivering a high standard of customer care, creating a positive experience with every interaction
  • Performing data entry and sales processing with precision, maintaining accurate records throughout the day
  • Collaborating with team members to exchange information and resolve issues efficiently
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to the continuous enhancement of our services
  • Maintaining accurate customer data within the CRM system
  • Communicating regularly with internal departments such as Finance, Depot, and Purchasing
  • Supporting the delivery of in-demand products and contributing to business profitability
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, introducing new products and technologies
  • Developing industry-leading product knowledge through training, research, and self-study

This is a Monday to Friday role with a rostered Saturday morning (worked from home). After successful training, the position offers the flexibility of hybrid working as part of a team rotation.

  • Have a positive, approachable attitude and strong communication skills
  • Demonstrate resilience and tenacity under pressure
  • Deliver first-class customer service with attention to detail
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
