Electrician - HS2 BBV JV

We are currently looking for an Electrician to cover the West Midlands to join our exciting and rapidly expanding HS2 team.

Role Responsibility

As the successful candidate, you’ll provide an effective link between the Operations and Engineering team. Delivering high levels of service quality to varied Electrical Engineering related activities. You will be working closely with all members of the engineering team, reporting directly to the Maintenance and Systems Manager, in effectively carrying out preventative maintenance tasks and responding in a timely manner to breakdown repairs with a keen eye for continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proven experience working as an Electrician within an industrial, factory or similar environment. They will also need to possess good communication skills, computer – literacy and attention to detail. They will have the ability and motivation to find solutions to reoccurring maintenance issues and the attention to detail to complete preventive maintenance inspections on the mobile plant equipment. They will need to be comfortable challenging people to uphold high standards and demonstrate problem-solving capabilities with a positive, proactive, can – do attitude.

Finally, they will need to travel across the West Midlands region, including visits to the sites at:

• Meriden
• Kenilworth
• Wash Wood Heath
• Chipping Warden
• Greatworth
• Fosseway
• Coleshill

Qualifications needed 

• Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent
