Quarry Operative

We are currently looking for a Quarry Operative to join our friendly team based in our Tarmac plant in Flax Bourton, near Bristol Airport.

Role Responsibility

Reporting into our Site Manager, the successful Quarry Operative will be responsible for undertaking all site duties safely, understanding CRH and SHE safety, operating static and mobile plant, static and mobile plant inspections & excellent housekeeping.

You will also take responsibility for:

• Meeting daily production target requirements.
• Reporting data for quality purposes.
• Meeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround.
• Continuous Improvement of performance standards
• Continuous improvement in plant and production methods
• Good housekeeping

The Ideal Candidate

As our ideal Quarry operative, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production & dispatch environment. You will also:

• Possess effective communication skills and be numerate
• Have previous experience operating static plant
• Be a proficient communicator
• Be a good team player
• Have a good understanding of Health, Safety, and environmental knowledge.
• Have a flexible approach to working hours
