Facilities Coordinator London, South East & Anglia

We are currently looking for a Facilities Coordinator (London South East and Anglia) to join our friendly team.
The Facilities Coordinator will be a highly visible role, responsible for the health and wellbeing of all employees, visitors and contractors on site.

Role Responsibility
The successful candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including:
- Ensure the building meets all health & safety standards and complies with all legal requirements
- Ensure all service provider contracts, including; security and cleaning; are optimised for service delivery and full use of SLA’s and scorecards are used to manage on-going performance
- Working closely with the purchasing team to optimise contracted spend with approved suppliers
- Ensuring that the Environmental Management systems and procedures are understood and enacted
- Ensure the building is operated and maintained effectively, planning for future changes in line with strategic business objectives
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues
- Ensure there is effective employee communication for all staff employed on site
- Support with other facilities contracts as they are identified
- Sharing best practices with colleagues from other parts of the CRH Tarmac business
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess many qualities including:
- IT Literate to perform required tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to build rapport with people at all levels in the organisation
- Ability to identify and address problems by developing logical solutions
- Able to build credible working relationships quickly at a Senior level
- Responds to individual and business needs in a flexible and timely manner
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
