We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Eaton Hall Sand and Gravel Quarry in Congleton.

Role Responsibility

Reporting directly to Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of the complex silica sand processing plant, dredger and unique silica sand dryers. Eaton Hall Sand and Gravel Quarry is investing in new technology all the time and the maintenance team will be required to keep the plant performing to its optimal capacity, safely and effectively.

The Ideal Candidate

This is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires a person with experience in the quarrying industry in a maintenance role. Candidates must have the relevant qualifications required to carry out a very broad set of tasks including writing risk assessments, welding, fabrication, planning, contractor management and fault finding. We are looking for candidates with excellent organisational and communication skills. Candidates must be flexible in their working approach.
