We are currently looking for an Electrican to join our friendly team based in Maltby, South Yorkshire.

Role Responsibility

As an Operative Electrician, you will operate the Plant & Equipment at the site to ensure budgeted targets are met or exceeded, whilst complying with company and legislative SHE and Quality Policies and procedures.  The role will also include carrying out of daily production data reporting, and preventative maintenance & electrical tasks.

Reporting to the Supervisor, the successful Operative Electrician's duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

⦁    Ensuring that Health & Safety rules are adhered to and deliver safety/operational performance targets.

⦁    Complying with all Tarmac Building Products Policies & Procedures.

⦁    Supporting the continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental performance standards.

⦁    Supporting the continuous improvement of process, plant and production.

⦁    Balancing the time covering operation and cleaning of the production line.

⦁    Building working relationships with other production and maintenance personnel.

⦁    Ensuring products of high quality are efficiently produced

⦁    Ensure plant equipment maintained to high standard and in a timely manner 

⦁    Making sure all work is carried out and documented in line with company Health and Safety policies
 

The Ideal Candidate

Any prospective candidates should hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and working in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
