Fleet Administrator

Job Introduction

Founded in 1968 Griffiths is one of the leading civil engineering and construction organisations working in Wales, the English border counties, and the West of England. We are currently looking for an experienced Fleet Administrator to join our friendly Fleet Department in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.

Role Responsibility

As the successful candidate, you will primarily work alongside two technicians assisting them with daily administration duties such as oversee and maintain the booking-in diary, order parts for next day delivery, manage purchase orders, collate paperwork as well as keeping the fleet management system up to date. You will also be the key link in rolling out and managing the new Defect Report app which will be used companywide on our extensive fleet of vehicles.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience within the construction/plant/automotive industry, but it is not essential. They will also:

  • Have previous experience/knowledge of Fleet (desirable but not essential)
  • Have experience of processing orders and invoices

  • Excellent People Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of accuracy
  • IT Literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and the ability to learn other business Systems
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Highly motivated
  • Great Telephone manner
  • Organised with the ability to multiple task
