Riney are currently looking for an experienced road surfacing Foreman to join our team based out of our Wick Lane depot, Bow, London.

Role Responsibility

It is ESSENTIAL you have experience of machine-lay asphalt gangs.

As Foreman you will play a vital part of the Operational Team. You will be responsible for: 

• Ensure all employees and subcontractors are inducted and hold toolbox talks

• Undertake, review and update risk assessments

• Responsible for timesheets and manage resources

• Supervise labour, plant, materials and subcontractors on site to ensure that all construction activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with programme/works order, budget and quality requirements.  

• Ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies, processes and procedures.   

• Leading and developing the site team to drive best practice and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate

If you have experience as a Foreman in road surfacing, we want to talk to you. You will meet the below requirements:

• Hold a construction qualification (NVQ 3) or a similar qualification 

• CSCS 

• SMSTS/SSSTS/IOSH 

• Foreman experience – preferably within the civil engineering industry 

• Service Technical Knowledge
