Role Responsibility

Reporting directly to the Senior Logistics and Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all planned internal and customer delivery schedules through motivational leadership of a small team. You will also seek improvement opportunities which will have a positive impact on the ability of Packed Products to meet its sales and financial targets. This will be achieved through high levels of customer service and strong engagement with the internal operational, commercial and wider transport teams.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will come from a logistics/ transport background. You will also have previous customer service and supervisory experience to draw upon. You will be leading a small team so you will need to utilise your previous people management experience as well as being an excellent communicator and motivator. You will also work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders so will have good influencing skills and a collaborative style. Finally, you will have good IT literacy with previous experience of Microsoft packages and databases.
