General Operative

We are currently looking for a General Operative to join our team at Harper Lane, Radlett WD7 7HX.

Role Responsibility

As General Operative reporting directly to the Asphalt Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operational activities of the Asphalt plant. Responsibilities include: 

• Operating mobile plant on the Asphalt plant 

• Meeting customer demand with high quality material and service 

• Working with the technical department to ensure full compliance at all times 

• Assisting with general maintenance and general housekeeping of the plant  

• Adhering the Health and Safety site policies and procedures at all times 

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will have previous General Operative experience or a good understanding of Asphalt production processes. You will: 

• Have experience of operating mobile plant equipment in a similar environment 

• Have good communication skills and the ability to work within time constraints 

• Have experience of working with Asphalt, and of ensuring quality of material is maintained throughout production processes 

• Be IT literate (Microsoft Office) 

• Have experience of Health and Safety policies and procedures
