HGV Lowloader Driver

Operating out of regional centres across Wales and England we construct new roads, bridges and railways as well as maintaining existing developments.

We are currently looking for a HGV Lowloader Driver to join our team based at our Head Office (Waterways House) in Abergavenny.

Role Responsibility

As the successful candidate, you’ll drive a Lowloader transporting plant and equipment to various construction sites, surfacing projects and general road maintenance projects across the UK.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience driving a Lowloader and plant in a loading and unloading capacity and hold an industry recognised Qualification eg CPCS, used to transporting equipment under STGO CAT2. They will have knowledge of the construction and plant industry and be able to use industry specific apps on company Tablet. They will possess good communication skills to arrange access with site teams and have the ability to work as part of a team to help meet the transport demands.

Qualifications

  • Class 1 / Cat CE licence
  • Valid CPC (desirable not essential)
  • CPCS Card Holding A50 Loader Securer & Other Plant Categories
