HSE Systems Administrator

We are currently looking for a HSE Systems Administrator to join our friendly team based in Solihull.  We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.

Role Responsibility

The successful candidate will have a wide variety of responsibilities including:

  • Liaise with external bodies for reporting of key statistics
  • Management of relevant historical data
  • Preparation and distribution of monthly reports
  • Safety Management System document control and review
  • Central data collection and validation
  • Prepare, proof read and distribute HSE documents (Briefing Notes, Alerts, etc)
  • Procure and distribute HS&E related literature and supplies
  • Be a focal point for cross business support and trouble shooting the HSE data handling system, including contractor management review where required
  • Central co-ordination of business wide (site) HSE reviews and audits
  • Accurate portrayal of Tarmac reporting in the wider industry (MPA)
  • Accurate and concise monthly reports
  • Up to date and well structured Safety Management System
  • Timely, accurate and well reviewed communications
  • Mobile and able to cover for Senior Manager, HSE Systems

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of similar role
  • Show a high level of computer literacy and literacy competence
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Strong time management
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Office and database management
  • Office organisation and administration
  • Experience of spreadsheets and report writing
  • Filing and data entry
  • Meeting and event planning
  • Attention to detail.
