Haulage Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Haulage Administrator to join our fantastic team based in Flax Bourton, Bristol (BS48 3QD).

Role Responsibility

Reporting directly to the Business Administration Supervisor and working as part of the Business Administration team, the Haulage Administrator is responsible for:

  • First point of contact, meet and greet customers and staff in a professional manner.
  • Duties including receiving visitors, answering incoming calls and general visitors.
  • Maintains security by following company procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming daily post, courier, franking and processing outgoing post.
  • Daily Haulage administration tasks including mileage queries, inputting haulage rates, and the process of tickets and payments within our system(s).
  • Liaising with stakeholders of varying seniority levels both internally and externally. Predominantly, with internal teams Business Administration team, Planners etc.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous Haulage Administrator experience or a strong customer experience background ideally within a Logistics environment.

Skills

  • SAP knowledge
  • Microsoft Office – (Word, Excel, Outlook)

They will also:

  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Have experience within an administrative environment.
  • Have experience of working within a fast paced environment.
  • Have strong initiative and excellent problem solving skills.
  • Be a strong team player.
  • Have the ability to liaise with a variety of teams/stakeholders.
  • Be computer literate.
