Internal Sales Representative - FTC

As an Internal Sales Representative within our Mortar department based in BuxtonDerbyshire. You will demonstrate knowledge of proactive lead generation, out bound calling and have a proven track record in sales. You will demonstrate behaviours focused on Customer Service, addressing underlying needs, driving improvement and applying thinking skills to solve complex problems as they arise. You will hold the ability to meet sales goals and demonstrate effective client relationship management. In addition, have a positive attitude, be customer focused and driven to succeed. You will possess good communication skills and be pro-active and numerate. Working well in a team environment, whilst also having the ability to work on own initiative.

A current full driving license is required as plant and customer visits can be requested as part of the role

Role Responsibility

Reporting in to our Internal Sales Team Leader, the Internal Sales Representative will be responsible for servicing existing accounts and obtaining orders. In addition, establishing new accounts through calling on existing or new customers and contractors.

You will also take responsibility for:

  • Respond to all Customer enquiries

  • Inputting quotations/notes on our inhouse SAP system

  • Using bespoke lead generation systems

  • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, locations and products

  • Participating fully in a coaching process which seeks to support the growth and performance of the entire commercial team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Working well in a team environment, whilst also having the ability to work on own initiative.
  • A current full driving license is required as plant and customer visits can be requested as part of the role.
