Laboratory Technician - Materials Testing

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our fantastic team at Swains Park, Derbyshire.

Role Responsibility

Reporting directly to the Laboratory Manager, the Laboratory Technician will be responsible for:

• Carrying out product compliance testing.
• Logging and reporting results to enable corrective actions to be taken.
• Testing of incoming raw materials and following safe systems of work to ensure production of finished goods can continue.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Laboratory Technician will have experience within a similar role as well as:

• An understanding of company Health & Safety policies & procedure
• IT literate to use Databases
• Good time management to enable testing to be carried out in an efficient manner thus reducing any downtime with production waiting for direction.
