National Customer Service Manager

Job Introduction

Tarmac has an exciting opportunity for a National Customer Services Manager who will be instrumental in the future development and support of the reliability culture to achieve the benefits available through the continuous improvement strategy. 

Role Responsibility

In this varied and challenging role you will lead and manage the Central Customer Service Department, incorporating sales and administration, in order to meet the current and future needs of the customer.

You’ll also be tasked with continuously identifying, scoping and implementing improvements to the delivery of this service to ensure that Tarmac Cement & Lime are the supplier of choice with their customers.

You should have a sound understanding of the needs of the business as well as the needs of the

Customers when taking the lead in overcoming concerns and complaints regarding service performance.

You will be able to understand the customer requirements on an individual level and tailor service offering accordingly. Of course your proven communication skills with all relevant areas of the business to be able to deliver what the business and customers require is also necessary.

The Ideal Candidate

It is likely that the ideal candidate possesses relevant experience in customer service team leadership, proven process improvement experience along with practical application knowledge and experience of implementing continuous improvement tools.

As the role is responsible for managing multi million pound customer accounts, you’ll be highly customer focused and be at ease influencing and communicating effectively at all levels across the business and externally. Experience of building and developing strong relationships internally and externally is also advantageous.
