National HSE Adviser

Job Introduction

We are currently looking for a National HSE Adviser to join our great HSE team at Tarmac. We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds. 

Role Responsibility

This role will support the Aircrete Blocks, Aggregate Blocks and Mortar product lines. It is a varied, complex and rewarding position that ideally requires 3 years’ experience in a similar role, membership of IOSH and a minimum qualification of a NEBOSH general certificate. Reporting directly to the Senior HSE Manager, you will work closely with them and Product Line Directors to provide targeted, consistent and focused support and advice in matters of HSE across Product Lines and sites within the Business.

As a HSE Advisor you will provide assurance to the business through governance that Tarmac HSE standards are being implemented at both Product Line and site level, supporting investigations in order that learns from incidents can be effectively implemented and shared to prevent recurrence and playing a key role as part of the HSE team to help develop and deliver the Building Products HSE Strategy and Tarmac wide initiatives. The role will both support and be key to the development of a strong HSE culture.
