We are currently looking for a Planning Supervisor (Nights) to join our friendly team.

Role Responsibility

Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager - South East, as the successful candidate you will deliver and monitor the Out Of Hour plan across the four Aggregate and Asphalt areas in the UK.

Key responsibilities;

• Become the conduit to the Distribution team between all plants and the other  functions operating a night shift
• Develop a strong, dynamic OOH planning team to deliver exceptional service for our internal and external stakeholders
• Deliver comprehensive reports and communications creating a clear concise picture of OOH activity
• Be the go to problem solver for our stakeholders operating OOH.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate previous experience working as a Planning Supervisor or similar gained within fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.

Specific Requirements:

• Proficient use of IT systems of which Microsoft suite is essential and SAP advantageous
• IT skills and the capability to manage the relevant IT systems.
• Self-management by adopting a flexible approach by prioritising, planning, and monitoring own activity and progress.
• Decision maker and adopting a systematic process that accounts for options, risks, and commercial gain in line with the needs of the business.
• Collaborative approach taken in all communications with your stakeholders
