National Resourcing Manager

Due to an internal promotion, we are currently looking for a National Resourcing Manager to join our friendly team based out of our Head Office in Solihull. Tarmac employs a flexible, hybrid working model.

Role Responsibility
The National Resourcing Manager will support the Head of Talent, Resourcing & Inclusion to develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy delivering a best in class in-house resourcing service.
- Manage and mentor a high performing recruitment team, providing guidance on best practice, fostering an inclusive culture and continually enhancing team skills/performance.
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship management; build strong partnerships with stakeholders, proactively addressing recruitment challenges.
- Data driven decision making; utilise data analysis and reporting tools to track and evaluate recruitment metrics – leverage insights to optimise the recruitment process adopting a continuous improvement approach.
- ATS – Manage the applicant tracking system.
- Project manage the MSP provider ensuring strict adherence to KPIs.
- External Agencies - Review the use of PSL and identify the correct number of agencies to partner with for the right roles at the right cost.
- Lead all resourcing matters across the early careers, experienced hires and contingent workforce including management of the MSP provider.
- Be the expert; act as an internal head-hunter, sourcing high calibre, talent for senior positions ensuring a robust pipeline of top tier candidates.
The Ideal Candidate
Ideally you will be :
- CIPD qualified and/or equivalent experience.
- Proven managerial experience operating within in-house recruitment and talent acquisition capacity.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing high-performing in-house recruitment teams across early careers, experienced hires and contingent workforce (MSP) in a nationwide multi site operation.
- In-depth knowledge of current employment law, best practices, policies and recruitment trends including tools, technologies and AI.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to impact and influence (able to get acceptance of ideas through indirect influence) and the ability to challenge (stand up for what is right).
- Strong Interpersonal skills, the ability to build and develop strong relationships, internally and externally.
- Ability to think and act strategically.
- Drive and a desire to succeed and improve.
- Proficient in excel and ability to use technology.
