Operative

Job Introduction

We are currently looking for an Operative to join our friendly team in Broom to work as part of a team and be responsible for production activities which include a good understanding of health and safety and quality procedures for the production of construction materials. 

Role Responsibility

The successful Operative will be responsible for actively participating in bagged products manufacturing in a safe manner. You will also take responsibility for: 

• Own and colleagues safety 

• Ensuring product quality 

• Continuous improvement towards plant and production methods 

• Good housekeeping

As our ideal Operative, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production environment.  

You will also: 

• Possess good communication skills and be numerate 

• Ideally hold a fork lift truck licence 

• Have experience of working in a manual handling environment
