We are currently looking for an Operative at our Packed Products plant in Linford, Stanford-le-Hope. As the successful Operative, you will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for undertaking all site duties safely, understanding CRH and SHE safety. You will also be working in different areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch and housekeeping.

Main Responsibilities

On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Operative will include (not exhaustive):

• Meeting daily production target requirements.
• Reporting of data for quality purposes.
• Moving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehicles
• Meeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround
• Continuous Improvement of performance standards
• Continuous improvement towards plant and production methods
• Good housekeeping

The Ideal Candidate

As our ideal Operative, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production & despatch environment.  

You will also:

• Possess good communication skills and be numerate
• Be a proficient communicator
• Be a good team player
• Have experience of manual handling
• FLT licence desirable

The role is based at our Linford Packed plant which is located close to Stanford-le-Hope in Essex. This role is commutable from Barking, Dagenham, East Ham, Rainham, Plaistow, Woolwich, Abbey Wood, Greenwich, Belvedere, Poplar, Stratford, Forest Gate, Greenwich, Deptford, Welling, Sidcup, Erith, Bexley, Bexley Heath, Dartford, Hornchurch, South Ockenden or the surrounding areas.
