We are currently looking for a Planning & Performance Analyst on the fixed term basis to join our friendly team at Lime & Powders at Tunstead Quarry, Derbyshire.

Role Responsibility
As the successful candidate, you will report directly to the Senior Manager - Planning & Performance and you will be responsible for: -
- Daily, weekly and monthly commercial reporting and variance analysis
- Communicate analysis to the commercial team
- Work with the commercial team to drive performance improvement and identify opportunities
- Monitor pricing movements and revenue including price indexing
- Maintain profitability model, including production cost analysis
- Monitor performance against strategic commercial objectives
- Manage the tracking of aggregates levy for limestone powders to ensure compliance
- Submit sales volume data to BLA
- Development and maintenance of monthly business scorecards
- Proactive additional analysis to investigate variances and discrepancies in data, and provide commentary as required
- Ad hoc commercial analysis and reporting as required by commercial team and Lime & Powders Directors
- Provide analytical support to sales team and for major customer relationships
- Support forecasting, budgeting and planning processes
- Manage the capture of market information regarding products, locations and volumes
The Ideal Candidate
This is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires previous experience in MI reporting and commercial analysis; experience analysing and documenting complex business areas and processes; understanding of general industrial, utilities and construction industries, particularly the customer, supplier and competitor interfaces, You will need to have advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel; advanced numeracy and financial understanding; excellent analytical skills; good written and verbal communication
