Plant Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Plant Coordinator to join our friendly team based at Tunstead in Buxton.

Role Responsibility

In the role of Plant Coordinator you will be play a key role in liaising with and supporting all departments in the plant and responsible for: 

  • Act as the owner for administration processes and P2P enquiries ensuring that they are all robust and that plant records are up to date

  • Responsible for the administration and project tracking of all Tunstead cement-based projects circa £2m including external liaison with contractors. 

  • Reviewing and forecasting fixed and variable costs on the plant along with proactively challenging spending and reducing costs. 

  • As a vital member of the team, the Plant Coordinator will possess the skills and attributes necessary to collaborate with all the teams across the plant and liaise with external contractors as necessary. 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Plant Coordinator you will have experience of: 

  • Functional experience in administration 

  • Experience of the financial process in SAP 

  • Experience in producing and presenting reports & analytical data 

  • Experience in managing the administration and project tracking of large scale projects and liaison with contractors on site and potential contractors. 

  • Experience in coordinating with contractors for business tenders 

  • Experience of using HIRA, Intelex, Sharepoint and SAP 

  • Safety awareness and competencies to assure safe working environment 

  • High level of communication skills and the ability to interact all departments and sites.
