We are currently looking for x2 Plant Operatives to join the team at our site in Llandewwi Velfrey, Pembrokeshire. Due to the nature of the role, we are open to applications from candidates who live in; or can commute from some of the following areas: Carmarthen, Cwmffrwd, Llaneli, Llangennech, Swansea, Port Talbot, Neath, Cross Hands, Ammanford, Llandeilo, Llangadog, St Clears, Whitland, Clynderwen, Kilgetty, Saundersfoot, Pembroke Dock, Milford Dock.

Role Responsibility
Reporting to the Works Manager, the Plant Operatives will support the safe & timely delivery of project activities, ensuring compliance with all BMS/SHEQ requirements using the very latest technologies. You will also ensure that works activities are carried out effectively, to agreed programme and specification.
On a day to day basis, the duties and responsibilities of the successful Plant Operatives will include (not exhaustive)
- Complying with the Company H&S Roles & Responsibilities & legislative requirements
- Understanding the controls identified to safely manage the risks associated with the construction activities
- Taking care of own H&S and that of others who might be affected by actions
- Maintaining positive client/stakeholder/public relationships
- Ensuring understanding of induction training, RAMS, POWRA’s, toolbox talks, safety alerts, lessons learnt and other project/company notices relevant to operations
- Completing and maintaining pre-use checks and equipment inspections as relevant to the role undertaken
- Ensuring timesheets are populated with accurate information, acknowledged and authorised by the Site Management Team
- Carry out routine maintenance on plant in line with business and manufacturers recommendations
The Ideal Candidate
In order to be considered for this position, it is essential that the Plant Operatives have an MPQC/ CPCS Card with NVQ Level 2 Applicable category.
Furthermore, it is ideal that any prospective applicants are in receipt of the following:
