Plant Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Plant Supervisor to join our team at South Gyle Concrete Plant in Edinburgh, Scotland.  We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.

Role Responsibility

This is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires the successful person to operate a concrete mixing plant which includes manual operation of the plant and system, loading mixer trucks with material and being responsible for all aspects of health and safety onsite.  Although full training will be given, applicants would benefit from having previous experience in a similar role.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience within a similar position within the Construction industry. You will also:

• Have experience of operating a concrete mixing plant
• Have experience within a supervisory role
• Have knowledge of on site Health and Safety polices and procedures
• Be able to work within set timeframes
• Be motivated
• Be flexible in your working appoach
