We are currently looking for a Powder Operative to join our fantastic team based at Tarmac Ballidon Powders site, Derbyshire.

Role Responsibility

Reporting in to our Powders Plant Manager, the successful candidate, will be responsible for actively participating in bagged products and bulk plant manufacturing in a safe manner. 

• You will also take responsibility for:
• Own and colleagues safety
• Ensuring product quality
• Continuous improvement towards plant and production methods
• Good housekeeping

The Ideal Candidate

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar manufacturing environment. 
You will also:

• Possess good communication skills and be numerate
• Ideally, hold a fork lift truck licence
• Be a good team player
• Have experience of manual handling
• Previous experience of shift work - desirable
• Willing to be flexible in working hours and patterns.
• Undertake in training required.
