Production Co-ordinator

We are currently looking for someone to join our team as a Production Coordinator to join our friendly team in Ballidon.

Role Responsibility

In the role of Production Coordinator you will be responsible for: 

• Leading and supporting the Powders shift teams in the execution of the weekly Production plan / schedules and ensures adherence to Safety, Environmental & Business policies within a 24/5 operation.

• The role is responsible for people and processes within the Powders shift teams delivering current operating model.

• Assisting the Powder’s production manager in developing people and processes to deliver future operating models.

• Liaise (as directed by the Powder’s Production Manager) with all key internal and external support teams in delivery of the above key areas of this role summary.

• Deputise in the absence of the Powder’s production manager.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Production Coordinator will have experience of: 

• Demonstration of appropriate level of practical knowledge and experience
• Membership of IOQ
• Demonstrable history of success in a Management role involving control of operational activities
• Experience of 24 hour process operations and management of shift based work arrangements
• Performance Management of individuals in a challenging environment
• Experience in modern continuous improvement techniques
• Working knowledge of crushing, screening, drying, classification, bagging and other Powders processes, raw feed quality.
• Understanding of control requirements associated with LSR Policies and procedures
