Pre-Construction Manager

We are currently looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join our Worcestershire Framework team based in Worcester.

Role Responsibility

The purpose of this Pre-Construction Manager role will be to oversee the pricing of work and the management of the project programme updates. This will include managing and where required undertaking take-off’, preparing and negotiating sub-contract enquiries, and the production of a Target Cost summary for the Framework schemes. Working closely with the Framework Manager, Planner, Operational and Commercial Staff to ensure a fully risk assessed and compliant Target Cost.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience

  • Previous experience as pre-construction manager in the civils sector
  • An engineering background
  • Extensive experience of pricing projects up to £10m
  • Experienced in planning and programming software
  • Good working knowledge of the NEC4 contract
  • Experienced in construction management processes and techniques.


Qualifications

  • Degree / HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
