Process Manager

We are currently looking for a Process Manager to join our team based at the Tarmac Linford site in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex.

Role Responsibility

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will have the responsibility for process control of the Aircrete manufacturing process and daily management of the Quality department. Working closely with the Operations, Quality and Engineering teams you will drive performance and improvements of manufacturing processes and assets across two plants.

  • Identify process challenges by analysing process data, metrics and statistics.
  • Identify opportunities, develop action plans and implement process improvements.
  • Lead teams that will be responsible for process optimisation and improvements.
  • Critically review current processes for effectiveness, quality and control.
  • Drive a culture of right first time and stop for quality.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the processes and products.
  • Act as a resource for identifying improvement opportunities, efficiency improvements and cost reductions through established lean methodologies.
  • Facilitate a data driven approach to management to drive recommendations for improvement and decision making
  • Facilitate teams on root cause analysis
  • Assist in promoting the implementation of best practices and lean manufacturing tools.
  • Monitor and measure the benefits of post process implementation to ensure product quality, efficiency and improvement.
  • Assisting with investigations on complaints and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Cooperate and promote culture change in H&S, environment and quality across site.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate previous experience working as a Process Manager / Continuous Improvement Manager / Process Improvement at Manager level gained within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
