We are currently recruiting for a Programme and Performance Manager to join our fantastic team here at our Forward Drive Depot in Harrow, Middlesex North West London.  This role is commutable from Greater London, Northolt, Stanmore, Edgware, Finchley, Hayes, West Drayton, Watford, Rickmansworth, Tyttenhanger, Gerrards Cross, Borehamwood, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Potters Bar, Slough, Amersham and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you as the Programme and Performance Manager will be required to have key working relationships with the Operations Teams and manage our Contract Coordinators across your operational regional area of work.

Responsibilities of the role (not exhaustive):

  • Manage, calculate and formulate monthly KPi data and process for reporting to clients each month
  • Create and develop global programmes for the various workstreams in LB Harrow
  • Manage the filing system including scanning and coding of site documentation and archiving
  • Maintain and accurately update information in the electronic document management system
  • Receiving works orders from client system
  • Liaising with Supervisors daily/weekly to programme and plan works
  • Ensure works are permitted in accordance with standard procedure
  • Import New Orders into Symology system along with management of the system and all applicable updates
  • Managing the Contract works programme
  • Liaising with Client, and attending meetings where applicable
  • Ensuring client system is updated and maintained as per client requirements
  • Manage/Coordinate the Contract Performance Report
  • Update and Report on the Contract Site waste management
  • Ensuring Contract systems are updated and maintained on a regular basis with the appropriate operational data, e.g. resource allocation planned start and finish dates, actual start and finish dates

In the role you will be in liaison with stakeholders across the business, ranging from – Contracts Director - General Managers – Commercial Managers – Accounts – Production – Technical – Distribution – HR

Please note this role is maternity cover for a 9 - 12-month FTC and has the flexibility of Hybrid working

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role of Programme and Performance Manager, you as the ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position within the infrastructure, highways, contracting, heavy engineering or manufacturing sector. You will also be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a global company or a similar environment as a Programme and Performance Manager; as well as possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Specific Requirements:

  • Possess a good Higher Education standard – A levels or above
  • IT literate, this will include all Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with using Symology works management system
  • Proven Project/Contract Coordination experience
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to be proactive and to use initiative
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral at all levels
