RF Sept 23 - Property Estates Surveyor - Hybrid Working

We are currently looking for a Property Estates Surveyor to join our team based at Quorn House in Loughborough. We can also offer a range of office locations throughout the UK and offer a hybrid working model.

Role Responsibility

In the role of Property Estates Surveyor you will be responsible for a number of tasks including: 

• Overseeing day to day estate management matters on freehold and leasehold industrial and commercial property
• Negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews with landlords and their agents to achieve the best possible return 
• Optimising rental income generated by Tarmac’s Land Portfolio 
• Budgeting, forecasting and approving property related costs including rent, rates, maintenance, service charges, and professional fees
• Instructing and managing external consultants and agents
• Updating and maintaining Tarmac's Land Information System 

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in the role of Property Estates Surveyor you will have proven knowledge and experience of:

• Property ownership and occupation in the UK, including landlord and tenant legislation
• Negotiation of rent reviews, lease renewals and general estate management matters
• Knowledge of town and country planning law, policy and practice
• Ideally you'll have a well developed and expanding network of industry contacts
• Knowledge of the UK industrial and commercial property market
