RAP Coordinator

We are currently looking for a RAP Coordinator to join our friendly team in Snodland.

Role Responsibility
Helping the RAP manager to identify new opportunities and develop RAP hubs when required, the successful candidate will ensure the safe and effective utilisation of haulage to recover planings for recycling into Asphalt. They will also need to work as dictated by the forward program (Planings are mostly recovered during night work with occasional weekend work required).
Key Responsibilities:

To locate safe meeting points for hauliers prior to starting work and to collate and deliver the start of shift briefing to the haulage team.

To manage the vehicles on site if required and ensure the correct number of vehicles are planned and used

To control the ticketing and other required documentation to successfully deliver the work

To provide excellent communication linking in with the weighbridge, the OOH Planner, and the Customer to ensure the jobs run successfully and any issues are resolved timely

To act as a banksman as required

To liaise with Internal and External customers and Planings contractors to ensure planings recovery is completed in a safe and efficient manner

To support the RAP Manager in the planning of works
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have safety awareness and competence to work on the UK road network with logistical knowledge to plan vehicle requirements.
As our ideal RAP coordinator you will have:

Banksman knowledge
-
HGV knowledge to support interaction with Hauliers
-
Apollo weighbridge skills
-
Ability to drive a loading shovel
