Salesforce Senior Commercial Analyst

We are currently looking for a Salesforce Senior Commercial Analyst to join our IT team based in Solihull, West Midlands. Flexible/Hybrid working available. 

In this key role you’ll be responsible for all Salesforce Administration duties. You’ll be involved in expanding and delivering Salesforce Solutions to meet our digital transformation strategy. 

You will be working primarily on business projects but also leading the delivery of smaller change packages via the enhancement process. You must possess appropriate business process knowledge and solution architecture skills and be able to communicate complex IT concepts to a business audience. 

Predominantly working on Service Cloud, you will also have responsibility for information gathering, solution designing and develop and implement Sales Cloud across all our core business units. 

Role Responsibility

This is a varied and rewarding opportunity that calls for an experienced Salesforce Senior Commercial Analyst. Reporting directly to the IT Commercial Manager you will have full responsibility covering the following:  

  • Quickly grasp and own enhancements and projects, translating functional requirements into solution design, build, test (co-ordinating UAT) and deployment  

  • Support the Salesforce platform to identify and mobilise resources required to aid resolution, escalates SLA breaches  

  • Coach & mentor analysts to increase staff motivation, foster growing skill sets and widen the talent pool 

  • Build solutions that comply right first time by design; possesses basic understanding of GDPR, SOx and GISP  

  • Act as a Salesforce Subject Matter Expert, supporting the IT Change Management process  

  • Vendor liaison to support service delivery to agreed SLAs  

  • Lead continuous process improvement through Product Owner Communities  

  • Ensure compliance with IT Internal Control processes and procedures

  • Familiar with UI/UX design and wireframing, desirable

  • User Journey Mapping 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven Salesforce knowledge with the proven ability to own and deliver transformation projects 

  • Must have a successful track record of managing, leading and developing Salesforce projects.  

  • Evidence of at least 3 to 5 years experience across several Salesforce capabilities 

  • In depth knowledge of Salesforce CRM including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud. Marketing Cloud desirable 

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator Degree (preferable but not essential) or equivalent experience ITIL certified/trained.
