We are currently looking for an experienced Scheme Project Manager to join our friendly team in Barnet.
This is a Road Surfacing position, previous experience is essential.

Role Responsibility
To manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractors on site to ensure that all construction activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with programme/works order, budget and quality requirements.
Ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies, processes and procedures. Working closely with the project Quantity Surveyor(s) to understand the commercial strategy for each project and implement this on site to maximise returns.
Ensure all works are completed within the required timescales and resource is kept to optimum levels.
The effective management of the works and ensure daily data and records are maintained to keep the works orders management tracker current.
Ensure daily outputs are achieved to provide the business with the required commercial and operational expectations.
Development and maintenance of relationship with Client Engineers and Supervisors.
Leading and developing the site teams to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
Supervisory experience required. Proven experience within the civil engineering industry, preferably of works delivery within highways sector.
Industry Technical Knowledge
Understanding of Health & Safety legislation
IT Literate - Word Excel, Project and PowerPoint
Proven Supervisory experience
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work under own initiative with minimal supervision
Problem solving, understanding of engineering principles
Effective communication skills
Current driving Licence
