Senior Analyst - RMX Performance

We are currently looking for a  Finance Analyst - RMX Performance to join our team at Solihull, Birmingham.

Role Responsibility

In the role of Senior Finance Analyst - RMX Performance you will be responsible for: 

• Managing the provision of RMX national operations financial information and reports as part of the National RMX Operations team

• This also includes preparation of performance plans, budget, and forecasts, providing financial advice, supporting and challenging as appropriate to improve performance nationally and regionally.​

• Act as the senior lead coaching and mentoring analyst in the wider team to upskill the analytical team, leading the way in report automation ​

• Lead the provision of accurate, timely and insightful Operational Analysis, to facilitate improved understanding and decision making in the Regional businesses​

• Drive the standardised treatment of working capital and stock control and reporting for the regional and national teams and drives operational efficiencies in these areas in a standardised and consistent manner

• Support the businesses in order to maintain governance and uphold performance standards in line with the Operational Excellence (OE) principles.​

• Working closely with business and finance colleagues to ensure clarification and understanding of business performance and actions to improve

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Finance Analyst - RMX Performance should have UK based work experience and be part-qualified or have studied towards an Accountancy qualification ( AAT  ACA  ACCA or CIMA ) 

• Excellent analytical background, with relevant technical skills and understanding. ​

• Analytical / accounting experience in large multi site, construction or manufacturing businesses, preferably with an insight to the RMX business.​

• Demonstrable understanding of the business dynamics, controls and processes. ​

• Knowledge of modelling and reporting tools (SAP, Anaplan, Excel, Power BI etc..) ​

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop relationships and networks​

• Excellent  system, reporting and communication skills. ​

• Strong commercial acumen, coaching and mentoring skills​

• A proven track record of delivery of key control information and contribution to improvement action plans​

• Ability to work under pressure
