Senior Systems Analyst - SAP SD and E-commerce

We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Analyst - SAP SD and E-commerce - to join our team in Solihull at Tarmac. We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.

The purpose of this role is to lead an effective delivery of relevant application services by leveraging deep specialist SAP SD/ Hybris Commerce knowledge. Translating business requirements into functional specifications with effective, efficient, and compliant business solutions. Working primarily on business change projects but also leading delivery of smaller change packages via the enhancement process.

Role Responsibility

Reporting directly to the IT Commercial Systems Manager, you will:

  • Act as Deputy for the team manager.
  • Coach and mentor analysts to increase staff motivation, foster growing skill sets and widen the talent pool. Supporting the recruitment process
  • Work as a Subject Matter Expert within the SAP SD/ Hybris Commerce application and functional scope on business projects in line with business strategy.  Having deep application knowledge across multiple modules, in particular SAP SD and Hybris Commerce.​
  • Support the business requirements relating to IT eCommerce and customer experience applications​
  • Quickly grasps user requirements and solution options, demonstrating initiative and confidence when presented with new challenges​
  • Owns enhancements and project tasks translating functional requirements into solution design, build, test (co-ordinating UAT) and deployment​
  • Works on agreed projects and changes within the agreed time limits​
  • Builds solutions that comply right first time by design; possesses basic understanding of GDPR, SoX and GISP​
  • Manages expert second-line support to IT users in line with agreed SLAs​
  • Investigates incidents and identifies and mobilises resources required to aid resolution, escalates SLA breaches​
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert in the Change Management process​
  • Vendor liaison to support service delivery to agreed SLAs ​
  • Supports the incident root cause analysis process
  • Ensures compliance with Internal Control processes and procedures​

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will be educated to degree standard, or will be able to demonstrate appropriate significant and relevant experience in a similar role.​ You will also have experience of liaising with stakeholders of varying seniority levels. 

Knowledge:

  • ITIL certified/trained​
  • Accredited by relevant software vendors (where available)​
  • SAP SD Certified​
  • SAP SD Configuration​
  • SAP Hybris Commerce expert​
  • Experience with IT eCommerce and CX projects​
  • Experience and awareness of UX design and user journey mapping

Skills/Experience:

  • Effective communication - technical and non-technical
  • Supports innovative and agile thinking​
  • Adept at defining & building system solutions from business requirements​
  • Creative systems design and rigorous implementation​
  • Leading problem analysis and problem solving​
  • Mentoring / Coaching​
  • Adept at producing high quality documentation​
  • Process orientation - capable of quality process mapping
