RF Sept 22 - Senior Systems Analyst - SAP SD

We are currently looking for an SAP Senior Systems SD Analyst to join our IT team and although we are based at our head office in Solihull, West Midlands, remote working is acceptable.
In this key role you will be accountable for delivering major projects and core system changes in the SAP sales lead to cash arena. You must possess developed communication skills and be able to translate business functional requirements into technical deliverables.
Role Responsibility
Reporting directly to the IT Commercial Manager you will have the responsibility for delivering SAP SD developments in a complex but rewarding SAP environment. Leveraging on your in-depth specialist SAP SD knowledge, you will work with the business to gather requirements and provide the most optimal SAP solutions. In addition, you will ensure there is compliance with our internal control processes and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role you must have:

Strong knowledge of the SAP SD module and all its components
-
Evidence of at least 3 to 5 years’ project/change experience across several SAP SD capabilities

Experience in translating business requests into clear functional requirements and can communicate complex IT concepts into understandable business language

The ability to manage and own large-scale changes across a dynamic SAP system landscape and meet deliverable timelines
-
Experience of structured systems development and project management methodologies
-
A good understanding of the role SAP SD plays in improving customer experience and delivering digital transformation

Proven ability to lead workshops to gather functional requirements
-
Drive and aptitude to explore and learn new technologies released by SAP
-
Excellent presentation skills

Experience investigating and resolving incidents against SLA’s

Experience in mentoring and supporting members of the team to foster growing skillsets and widen the talent pool
It is also desirable that you have:
-
A degree in Computer Science, software development or a similar qualification

SD Certification
-
SAP Functional Knowledge of various other SAP modules e.g. FI, MM,
-
S/4 Hana experience
-
SAP ABAP debugging
-
ITIL Certification/awareness
