Shift Supervisor (Lime)

We are currently looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our friendly team based at Tunstead Plant in Buxton.

Role Responsibility

The Lime Shift Supervisor has ownership and is responsible for the safe execution of production and autonomous maintenance schedules, ensuring that all shift KPI’s are achieved or bettered. The Lime Shift Supervisor is also responsible for the following:

• Ensuring that all SHE & Security Standards are achieved across the site.
• Ensuring that behaviors and conduct of everybody on site meet the Tarmac Values.
• Act as Incident Controller in the event of an incident (Safety & Environmental).
• Conduct SHE/Quality & Plant RCAs
• Promote and encourage cross functional working throughout lime operations.
• Act as the shift supervisor of the plant and the team

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience of:

• Team player, within own team and with other teams and the ability to develop team members
• Owns problems and drives towards solutions
• Must have a safety first mentality and a commitment to maintaining and improving health, safety and environmental standards is essential. 
• Ability to interact with plant personnel from other departments and sites
• Implement and uphold Tarmac standards
• Ability to work to schedule and complete tasks in a timely manner without prompting
• Knowledge of lime manufacturing operations (Advantageous)
• Daily leadership of team to execute all KPIs
• Ability to run plant to standard operating procedures
