Shutdown Manager

We are looking for a Shutdown Manager to join our friendly maintenance team based at Tunstead Cement Plant in Buxton.

Role Responsibility
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Shutdown Manager plays a vital role in the contribution to the success of annual plant shutdowns.
This role will help to deliver continuous improvement in safety & health, equipment reliability and overall R&M costs of the Cement Plant shutdown processes, building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Shutdown Manager will have experience of:
- IOSH Managing Safely
- CRM 2015
- Technical qualification (HNC/HND) and time served as a Mechanical Engineer
- Knowledge & experience within cement manufacturing areas is essential
- Coordinating and managing major project works, including contractor management is desirable
- Planning/scheduling software (MS Projects) experience desirable
- Computer literate, with knowledge of CMMS
