Site Operative

We are currently looking for a Site Operative to join our friendly team based in Cotesbach, Leicestershire.

Role Responsibility

The successful candidate will integrate into a committed and self-motivated team which are responsible for the daily waste disposal/segregation activities ensuring all aspects of health and safety, environmental and landfill registrations are adhered to. 

• Ideally the successful candidate will be an experienced plant operator with good team skills . 
• Reporting into the site supervisor/manager you will be expected to assist waste hauliers whilst on site. 
• Complete various tasks including, defect reports,  maintenance on our mobile and fixed plant including (greasing/cleaning )
•  Haul roads repairs,  along-side any other duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate

As part of our committed team , you will be able to demonstrate experience working within a similar environment,  ideally within the waste sector. You will also 

• ideally hold a current mobile plant licence or have experience in operating mobile plant (Excavators, Refuse compactors, Tracked loading shovels, ADT, Bulldozers, Tractors)
• Be an effective communicator - written and verbal. 
• Hold a full UK driving licence. 
•  A Team player.
