Team Leader

Job Introduction

We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our great team in Alfreton to support the production manager in achieving the shift targets for Safety and Production. The team leader is responsible for coaching and development of the shift team in order to ensure that there are adequate levels of cover for all stations.

Role Responsibility

• To cover the Production Manager Role when they are on leave or absent
• To Coach other operatives on all areas of plant production
• Ensuring that Health & Safety rules are adhered to and deliver safety/operational performance targets.
• Supporting continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental performance standards and of the production process.
• Effective completion of operator preventative maintenance tasks
• Meeting daily production target requirements.
• Supporting Site Manager and Supervisors to deliver required production volumes. · Reporting of production and Quality data
• Completion of all production reports and documents as required
• Balancing the time covering operation and cleaning of the production line.
• Building working relationships with other production and maintenance personnel. · Good time keeping and Flexibility.
• Ensure products of high quality are efficiently produced
