Technical Sales Manager

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our friendly team. This role will be a Regional role with the main base at Eaton Hall, Congleton.

Role Responsibility

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will act as an interface between the business and the sports and landscape sectors. You will also help to promote the sales of all Topsport and Topscape products.

Your aim will be to become a commercially astute, reliable and technical expert for the main product lines available under Tarmac Building Products Topsport.

Furthermore, you will provide technical sales support to customers and the internal sales team.

On a day to day basis, the successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following: 

  • Identifying market opportunities to grow sales of Topsport and Topscape product range
  • Maximising Selling prices and to minimise purchase prices
  • Ensuring product compliance and design of new products
  • Act as the central point of contact between customers and supply points.
  • Review and help prepare quotations that promote the best value technical solutions
  • Follow up and track opportunities and record current status.
  • Prospect for new business by keeping in contact with the main design and construction practices
  • Respond to customer enquiries & complaints

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a Sales professional with a previous track record of success. 

You should be someone who has a flair for customer service and continuous improvement. Furthermore, you should also be someone who has experience in developing people and be a team player.
