We're looking for a Technical Supervisor to join our friendly team in Wolverhampton.

Role Responsibility

In the role of Technical Supervisor you will be responsible for: 

  • Provide support to the Aggregate block manufacturing sites focusing on raw material management & control, raw materials usage forecasting, BOM management & production adherence to BOM and production planning optimisation
  • Provide hands-on front-line support at our Aggregate Block sites
  • Responsible for the technical management of key raw material suppliers such as admixtures, aggregates & cementitious materials
  • Focus on data analysis of our quality testing data and require decision making to improve compliance and cost optimisation.
  • Provide product & materials training / coaching of the site operations teams including root cause investigation where quality issues occur.
  • Provide technical guidance where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Technical Supervisor will have experience of: 

  • A – levels (or equivalent) in a science or engineering-based subject (desirable) or through appropriate experience

  • City & Guilds Certification

  • Lean Process qualifications

  • Working in a team testing, documenting, and analysing data

  • Knowledge of concrete products (Precast), testing procedures and material

  • Broad material technical knowledge understanding (standards)

  • Understanding of concrete admixture types and admixture chemistry

  • Supervisory experience in a laboratory environment

  • Health & Safety Knowledge & training

  • Quality assurance systems and standards and associated quality controls.
